Brisbane rockers HITS celebrated ten years (well, technically eleven) as a band at the Sunday Rock N Roll BBQ, a monthly Sunday rock show that features everything from surf punk to garage rock to heavy metal to whatever “Cowboy Bob” Lee decides to book. This particularly special Sunday Rock N Roll BBQ was staged at The Triffid (one of the most beautiful live rooms in the country) in Newstead, Brisbane and attended by a massive crowd that included rock fans of all ages, singing every bloody song. HITS played alongside a slew of other killer bands including FATS, The Horrortones, Bottlecock and Goldstool.
HITS recently supported punk legends Radio Birdman, are a cult band on the Aussie touring circuit and a fan favourite in Europe, where they’ve built a loyal following over more than a decade of playing their own unique brand of rock and roll, slaying crowds in their wake. This video features the finale song of the whole day, HITS’ “Sometimes You Just Don’t Know Who Your Friends Are,” which was co-sung by half the crowd.
